Welcome

We invite you to join like-minded volunteers as we remove weeds, plant indigenous species and maintain the beautiful area of Riddells Creek. Then enjoy socialising over morning tea.

Where

We meet at Wybejong Park beside the creek.  When the creek is in flood, we gather on the opposite bank via Melvins Road next to the church.  See map below.

When

The first Saturday of each month from 9:30am. Contact us here.

Come for an hour or two or three - whatever suits you.

Acknowledgement of Country

Greening of Riddell acknowledges that we meet and work on the land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respect to their Elders past and present, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal people continue to play within the Australian community.

Through volunteer support, we provide ongoing maintenance and continued revegetation of Wybejong Park including monitoring of water quality.

We develop community awareness of and involvement in local environmental issues such as renewable energy, sustainable land use and protection of local indigenous flora.
